Accounting Clerk II (A/P PO & Non-PO) -- Seattle Careers

Job Duties: Process PO or Non-PO related invoices, Credit/Debit Memos, RTV’s and other transactions in a fast paced production environment, adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines while conforming to accuracy and production requirements. Research vendor statements, resolve complex invoice discrepancies, and correspond with vendors, employees, and management timely via email or telephone. Work on special projects as assigned. Act as back-up support on an as needed basis for various duties within the department.

Job Requirements: High school diploma with some Associate Degree work. 3 or more years of experience in Accounts Payable. Proficiency in computerized business applications, such as Word and Excel. Extensive knowledge of automated accounting systems in a large company environment, such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft. Experience using a 10-key calculator (by touch). Type 50wpm – strong accuracy required – processing over 150 invoices/day.
